Sherrie Lynn Healy

Sherrie Lynn Healy beloved mother, grandmother, friend and Daughter of God passed away on March 31st, 2026, at the age of 78. She was born on August 2nd, 1947, in Salt Lake City, Utah. From the beginning her life was marked by challenge, quiet strength and deep devotion to the people she loved. Over the years she built a life centered on family, faith, love, kindness and perseverance - values she carried with her through every season. Sherrie graduated from Murray High School and from there went on to create a career in business – working multiple jobs until she achieved distinction as a District Director for Pitney Bowes. During that career, she touched many lives, won multiple awards and gained many friends. But above all of that, she was a beautiful mother and grandmother. The depth of her love could be seen in the countless miles she walked for her children, grandchildren, family and friends. The rides given without hesitation, the unannounced cookie drops, the fun Halloween and Christmas parties, the sacrifices made quietly behind the scenes, the long days and longer nights where she carried more than anyone ever knew. Like so many mothers, she bore the weight so that her children and grandchildren could walk lighter. Those who knew her will remember her for her kind heart, unconditional love, and enduring faith. She had a way of making people feel welcome and cared for, and her presence often brought comfort and joy to those around her. Mom was fun! Her faith in Jesus Christ was an anchor throughout her life. In her final days she faced the road ahead with courage and grace, trusting in the promises of the Lord she believed in. She is survived by her sons, Nick and Travis (Natalie) Healy, her Sister Debra Buckway - her grandchildren - Dawson Healy, Corbin Healy, Brenner Healy, Gage Healy, Morgan (Annie) Healy, Savannah Healy, McKenna (Tallon) Taylor, Madalin (Dakota) Carlson, and great grandson, Boston Carlson - along with other loving family members and friends whose lives were shaped by her love and influence. She was preceded in death by her father, Edwin and her mother, Lois Buckway. She missed her dad deeply for so many years. Now, she walks by his side. And that makes me and Nick smile. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held on April 16th from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at the LDS Chapel located at 11122 Black Hawk Drive, South Jordan, UT 84095, where family and friends will gather to honor the life she lived and the love she gave so freely.
