TALAIFINA FIFITA TUPOUTO'A PALU

Talaifina Fifita Tupouto’a Palu, 57, passed away on April 20, 2023 in her home. She was born on February 10, 1966 in Tofoa, Tongatapu, Tonga to Sione Manitisa Fifita and LImu’ula Tupouto’a. She married her eternal companion ‘Ofa Filimone Palu and they were sealed for time and all eternity in the Laie Hawaii Temple on December 20, 1986. Talaifina worked all her life in multiple occupations throughout her lifetime but one thing she enjoyed the most was spending time with family and cooking for others. Talaifina loved her family but she loved her grandchildren the most. She would take any and all opportunities to spend time with her grandkids. Talaifina loved to cook all her favorite foods and till the day she passed, her cooking was still favored and desired by the many people who have had it. Talaifina also loved to spend time at the temple. She was an ordinance worker in the “ORIGINAL” Provo Temple and after her husband passed away in 2019, she spent most of her days in the temple where she felt closest to her eternal companion or at his graveside in the Provo City Cemetery where she will be joining him soon. Talaifina is survived by her children: Kolivailea(Kilisitina) Palu, Siaosi Palu, Taniela Palu, and Sesilia Palu. Her grandchildren: Sesilia Leka and Talaifina Leka, her namesake. She is also survived by her many siblings who are still living as well as extended family. Talaifina is preceded by her eternal companion ‘Ofa Filimone Palu who passed away on June 6, 2019 as well as both her parents and many family members who have also passed on from this life. Talaifina’s funeral services will be held on Friday, April 28, 2023 Orem 10th Tongan Ward Chapel 950 S 50 E Orem, UT 84058. The viewing will start at 9AM followed by the Bishop’s program at 12pm. She will then have her burial services at the Provo City Cemetery shortly after.
