Taufa Feleti Leka, 77, passed away on Saturday May 30th, 2026 at the Holy Cross West Valley Hosptial. He was born Feb 21st, 1949 in Kolomotua, Tongatapu - Tonga Islands to Solomone Aholotu Leka and Emma Cocker Leka. He was previously married to Maria W. Broughton and parted ways in the early 2000s. He is survived by his daughter Luisamaria Alamein Leka, his 2 beautiful granddaughters, Maria Lucretia Nedelcu and Anastasia Isadora Andrea Nedelcu. He leaves behind a long time partner Kim Allgood. He is also survived by siblings, Halaholo, Lusia, and Lopeti, along with many extended family members and close friends. Feleti was a Hardworking, Fun-Loving Man who lived his best life. He was an adamant tennis player until his older years when the Golf course became his second home. He worked as a Cement Mason for over 30 years creating many buildings and roadways across the valley. Feleti had a special love for animals, especially cats. Whether they were strays at work, wandering the golf course, or simply showing up at his home, he always made sure they were fed and cared for. In many ways, those cats reflected his spirit— free-spirited, independent, and living life on his own terms. He was the fun brother, uncle, and friend, always bringing laughter, good times, and unforgettable memories to those around him. But above all, his daughter and granddaughters were his princesses and held his entire heart. The love he had for them was immeasurable, and they were his greatest joy. Feleti is preceded in death by his parents, his older sister Melesiu and his older brother Haumono and many more guardian angels. Viewing Services will be conducted on Monday June 8, 2026 from 1pm to 3pm at Serenity Funeral Home located at 13863 S 2700 W, Bluffdale, UT 84065. The burial will follow at 330pm, Redwood Memorial - 6500 S Redwood Rd, West Jordan, UT 84084. He will be laid to rest with his father and niece. As a simple man, Freddy would want his family and friends to celebrate the peace he has found. He never asked for much—just good times, the people he loved, and the simple joys in life. We take comfort in knowing that he is now reunited with many loved ones on the other side of the veil. No doubt he's enjoying endless rounds of golf, playing great tennis matches, and sharing laughs with those who went before him. Though he will be deeply missed, his spirit, humor, and love will remain in our hearts forever. Cheers to you, Freddy.
