Lehi Rodriguez Funeral Counselor and Owner
Lehi attended the EBC University in Mexico City, where he studied Accounting and Finance. After serving a 2 year mission for the LDS Church Lehi moved to Utah. He spent over 9 years in the Banking Industry working for First Security Bank, Jordan Credit Union and Zions Bank where he held several positions including Indirect Lending Manager, Commercial Loan Officer, Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager. He then joined the funeral industry working for SereniCare Funeral Home and Larkin Mortuary as a Manager and Director of Community Relations, overseeing the outreach and education to health care groups in the Salt Lake community. He has worked with home care and hospice groups to promote the quality and compassionate care at end-of-life. Lehi has helped hundreds of families to plan funeral services at the time of need with tenderness and compassion, understanding those sacred times. He is a licensed pre-need counselor and enjoys educating others on the importance of pre-planning. In 2012 he served as the President for the Utah Hospice & Palliative Care Organization (UHPCO) and has been re-elected to serve again as the President for 2015. He has actively participated on the UHPCO Board of directors for the last six years. Lehi has served as an Adjunct Chaplain at Primary Children’s Medical Center, The Bradley Center Board of Directors, Advisory Board for Caring Connections at the University of Utah College of Nursing and as a member of the Executive Board of Directors for the Utah Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. He is married to Melissa Wilhelm and together they have 4 children.
Larry Lee Hansen Funeral Director and Owner
Larry Lee Hansen has been a funeral director assisting families for over 25 years. Larry has been actively involved in the communities he has lived in, not only through the funeral service profession, but also through his involvement in Kiwanis, Chamber of Commerce, Hospice Board of Directors, Bikes for Kids, and various positions of service within his church. Larry and his wife Sheri have four children. Larry is currently serving as the general manager for Serenity Funeral Home of Draper and Orem.
Beau Warenski Funeral Director
Beau Warenski is a funeral director at Serenity Funeral Home in Draper, Utah. Beau joined the Serenity team in September of 2011. He has always been interested in a career in the Funeral Service Industry and has always had a desire to help families in their time of need.
Beau graduated from American Academy McAllister Institute of Funeral Service in December 2016.

Teresa nacio en la Cd. De Mexico,estudio en la Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico, obteniendo el Titulo de Licenciada en Psicologia y Mencion Honorifica por la calidad de su proyecto y disertacion publica. Actualmente su familia esta integrada por sus 4 hijos y 8 nietos, todos viven en el estado de Utah.
Ha desempeñado diferentes actividades profesionales: Psicologa del DayCare de la Camara de Diputados, Directora del Centro de Desarrollo Comunitario del DIF, Cordinadora Tecnica de los Centros de Desarrollo Comunitario del DIF en el Distrito Federal, Consejera Vocacional y Maestra en la Preparatoria Benemerito de las Americas, en Mexico. Facilitadora de Grupos de Apoyo para Padres en Boy & Girs Club, Comunidades Unidas, la Casa del Pueblo y Parents Anonymous, Case Manager en el Programa de Prevencion de HIV con el Utah Health Department y Breast Cancer Program with Susan G. Komen, asi como Prevention Specialist en East High School in Salt lake City. Actualmente es Consejera para Familias con SereniCare y Facilitadora del Grupo de Apoyo para personas en el proceso del Duelo , todo esto en el estado de Utah.
Sus actividades profesionales siempre le han permitido estar cerca de su familia y servir a aquellos que estan en necesidad y actualmente no es la excepcion, pues con SereniCare tiene la oportunidad de brindar apoyo a las familias en momentos muy dificiles. Teresa considera que su familia y las oportunidades profesionales que ha desempeñado han dejado un dulce impacto en su vida.
Peni Malohifo’ou Funeral Counselor
Peni, a native of Tongan and of Fijian descent, attended BYU-Provo and BYU-Hawaii after fulfilling an LDS mission in the Fijian Islands and Vanuatu. He speaks, reads and writes five different languages. He worked for the Polynesian Culture Center in Hawaii as a musician and entertainer before moving to Utah and starting work for the local telephone company Mountain Bell/Qwest Communication. He stayed with them for 18 years as a Senior Customer Services Representative and then worked for Delta Air Lines for 11 years as a Senior Customer Care Agent. He is well known and respected in the Polynesian Community and truly enjoys serving others.

Growing up, it has always been a goal of Caleb’s to join the funeral business. Having two uncles and a brother in the practice, he knew one day he would follow in their footsteps. Keeping that goal of his in mind, Caleb is currently attending American Academy Mccallister Institute so he can become a Funeral Director. Caleb first started working part time for Serenity Funeral Home in April 2014. Since then, he continued developing skills and accumulating experiences which has led to him becoming a part of the Serenity Funeral Home Family. Not only is Caleb eager to work under his apprenticeship, but he’s pleased to help assist families who are in need.

Sarah brings with her over 15 years of Accounting, Customer service and Office management skills. Graduating Cum Laude from Stevens-Henager Business College in Business Accounting she became a career professional before graduating. Small business is her preferred industry and she fits in perfectly here at Serenity Funeral Home. She is a mom of two outstanding young men and is a proud mother-in-law. Keeping the books in balance is her primary daily task, but she believes to be good at it, it is required to keep our lives in balance. Therefore outside of work she enjoys cruising to beautiful vacation spots, paper crafting, and serving in her church. She enjoys being apart of each family's journey and loves to help those around her.
James Hutchinson Funeral Assistant
Jim joined Serenity Funeral Home in November of 2011 as a transportation specialist and also as print production specialist. Has also gained experience as a funeral assistant doing viewings and funerals.
Jim was born and raised in Utah. He served a mission for the LDS Church in Central California as a spanish speaking missionary. He spent most of his career as a printing specialist for a large insurance company. Jim has found working for Serenity is a fulfilling occupation. It is a compassionate work that comes with the benefit of helping families at this fragile moment in time. Serenity’s goal of helping people obtain affordable priced funerals is one of the reasons Jim loves doing this. Jim says helping at all the offices (Draper – Orem – St. George) is fun as he gets to work with all of staff throughout the state.
Delwyn Roper Funeral Assistant
Delwyn Roper is a Utah native and was raised in the Provo/Orem area. He attended Orem High School and Brigham Young University and served an LDS mission in France. Following his schooling he became a licensed Journeyman plumber and worked for 35 years as a mechanical contractor. During that time he served on several boards and committees including the bid service and the apprenticeship training program. Delwyn and his wife, Becky, are the proud parents of 4 children and 8 grandchildren. Music, travel, watercolors, and golf are a few of his favorite pastimes. His leadership and collaborative experiences, both in his professional and church service have helped prepare him to be sensitive to the needs of those who have lost loved ones. Delwyn joined the Serenity family in the spring of 2012.
Shelly Malohifo’ou Funeral Assistant
Shelly attended Dixie College in St. George, Utah. She had worked for the telephone company for over 22 years, back when there was only one Phone Company, Mountain Bell, and stayed during two name changes before moving on to other opportunities. She also worked for three airlines before joining Serenity Funeral Home.
Of all of her various assignments she has always been in customer service positions, something she is passionate about. Giving great customer service is essential in this line of work, dealing with families at the most difficult times of their lives. They must be handled with the utmost respect, dignity, compassion and kindness. She feels it an honor to help families at this time as they go through this transition and try to lift the burden as much as possible. Shelly feels this is a dream job, wishing she could have come into this field of work sooner but, more than just that, come into this particular company Serenity, when they were first established.
Shelly always tells all that will listen, “This work is the most rewarding work she has ever done!”
