What a blessing it was to have had a friend recommend Serenity when I needed their services upon the death of my sister. From the first moment I contacted them on the phone to the when I picked up the final paperwork, they were kind, understanding and professional. Caleb could not have been more compassionate when coming to pick up my sister on her passing at 3am. That compassion continued throughout the process of making the arrangements and all of the paperwork. I recommend Serenity to anyone who is seeking to arrange final plans for a loved one.

We were referred to Serenity when my husband was in hospice. As the time came and he passed I was so grateful for all the staff that assisted us. They were professional but so caring for me and my loved one. They treated him with the upmost respect and courtesy. They guided me through the whole process of planning and allowed me to express my desires for his service. They accommodated me in every way. Thank you Serenity Funeral Home for all you did for our family. Lehi Rodriguez in Bluffdale, UT, provided care and compassion that was so heartfelt, he honestly shared in the grief for the loss of my mom. Mom called me about two years ago to tell me she met a great man that was going to help her four boys carry out her final wishes. Lehi was there every step of the way, in helping and guiding us along the pathway. She told us that Lehi was a trusted friend, a term that she did not throw around. She even got to meet Lehi's wife, which further bonded Lehi to our family. Lehi's service to others is the "Gold Standard" which others are measured. Thank you Sir, for taking care of our Mom. My Cousin passed away a few weeks ago . Just want to thank Teresa and the Serenity Family for taking care of things in such a professional and loving way during this hard time for my family and myself. We recently had our father pass away after 93 years of an incredible life. We wanted to make sure to honor him by having services that spoke to his demeanor and views on life. Serenity came to mind. I could not be more happy with their service, dedication, and empathy during this time. They took care of so many details and were warm with my mother and siblings. They understood budgets but knew we needed to honor my father the best way possible, they truly went above and beyond their job responsibilities. It’s been about two years since we’ve needed Serenity but I’ll never forget the amazing experience. We knew my dad was dying the evening of Christmas Eve and had called another funeral home first to make arrangements. They did not show any sympathy or compassion of the fact my dad was dying.. I get that it’s Christmas Eve but no one expects a loved one to be passing or pass during a holiday. My uncle had suggested to go through Serenity and work with Beau directly. Fast forward.. my dad had passed away Christmas morning in 2022. Beau made everything so seamless! He was very kind and compassionate in every detail to help us get through this particular patch of this grieving journey. My dad was cremated but we were able to see him one last time. We had mentioned that the 5150 album by Van Halen was my dad’s all time favorite and Beau had it playing in the background. He and the team also made sure to take care of my dad’s body (grooming it before). Beau and the team were there to help and I’m forever grateful. 🥹❤️

My 96 year old mother passed away in February. She had made a lot of her arrangements herself back in 2012. There was still a lot to do and when my daughter and I visited with Lehi to finalize the plans and program, he made it so easy! Lehi is very knowledgeable and caring and I felt the whole time like he really was trying to help, not that it was just his job. He took care of so many things for us and his employees were all very helpful and caring. I can't thank Lehi and his employees enough! They really did "serve" our family!

Serenity helped us through the hardest, most unexpected time of our life. Their team was so empathetic. kind, and gentle while we navigated this difficult time. The obituary site made it so many friends, family, and co-workers were able to send memories of my father from all over the world. We felt at peace knowing all the details were taken care of and all we had to do was show up. I will forever be thankful for the support and help Serenity provided us and will recommend their services to anyone who may need it.

My mother-in -law passed away during the COVID-19 self-isolation days in April. The men who came to take away her body were so respectful. The necessary precautions did not distract them from handling her deceased body so tenderly and so reverently with the respect she deserved. A few of us were allowed to come and dress her in her temple robes. This is not something her daughters felt like they wanted to do-but came to honor their mom. Once again restrictions were in place, because of COVID-19, but the Serenity Mortuary, did all they could to keep the focus off what we couldn't do and emphasize what we could do. We were all amazed to see how beautiful Norma looked. After months of suffering and not looking at all like we wanted to remember her-it brought so much peace and happiness to see her looking like herself again. There is no way to describe the transformation. Her coloring, her hair-everything looked like she used to. It was not overdone. She looked just like herself. She never wanted to have a viewing and because of COVID-19, she got her wish. Only family members were allowed to pay their last respects. It really was a shame that others could not see her-and the wonderful job the morticians did restoring her to look like the Grandma we all knew and loved. Finally, because of COVID-19 restrictions, we were not allowed to have a funeral. The family decided to move forward and have the graveside services 2 days after Norma's passing. Serenity Mortuary, did not hesitate or try to persuade us to delay. We appreciated their compassion and flexibility in allowing different family members to come say their goodbyes when they arrived from out of town. They were patient when the graveside services went longer than 30 minutes and did not try to rush us in any way. With all of the sadness that comes with the death of a loved one-it was like Serenity just hugged us through the entire process of making sure Norma was put to rest in a way that all of us could be at peace with and that honored her in the way she deserved.

We didn't know where to start or how we were going to get through the planning after my mother passed away. After the first consult with Lehi, we knew right away we needed their services. They took a lot off our shoulders, which allowed us to be with family. They went above and beyond with their services, professionalism and care, It felt like working with family. Our loved ones couldn't be more appreciative of Serenity and their are no word that can express our gratitude. They are Absolutely wonderful and I Highly recommend them. -Bianca and Jace.

Thank you Peni Malohifo'ou Funeral Counselor... Truly, Peni is a man of God, of which, one will discover through working with him in preparation of taking care of our deceased loved ones. Peni brought peace into our lives, and comfort, and removed all fear with the transactions needed for my husband's funeral. All arrangements were taken care of in advance, and on the day of service I was without concern if all would go as planned. The kindness, the skilled professionalism allowed my husband to have an open casket for his friends who wished to say their good byes in peace. There is far more that could be said of the staff, the business end of the funeral, those who came to take my husband to be prepared for his funeral, all of these people brought a sense of respect for me and my family, and especially with the care of my deceased husband. When my father passed away unexpectedly my family was thrown into the process of mourning and funeral planning all at once. A trusted extended family member recommended Serenity. Our choice with Serenity began with cost sensitivity but after meeting with them to initiate the planning process, we gratefully discovered that difference in price did not result in diminished service level or quality for my father’s funeral. Every staff member gave us personalized assistance and met every need in detail. My father’s funeral was done beautifully and with great understanding. We are grateful to Serenity for maintaining quality services for families experiencing a painful loss and doing so in a financially sensitive manner as well.
